St. Monans is a picturesque fishing village on the east coast of Scotland. The structure in the photograph is colloquially known as The Blocks and is a solid concrete breakwater which zig-zags out from the harbour wall. I’ve risked life and limb on many occasions to stand up on the harbour wall to capture this magnificent view.
